ZRP Forged Wheel Instructions
This install is recommended to be done by a wheel/tire shop unless you have previous experience beadlock Installation
1. Use tire mounting lube on the wheel and tire opposite the beadlock to ensure proper seat for the tire. Mount inner bead of tire over wheel like normal. Then seat the outer bead of the tire on the shoulder of the bead lock inner ring on the wheel and center the tire.
2. Align holes and Install the hardware with anti-seize, ensure to start all bolts by hand to avoid thread damage. Tighten them in a crisscross pattern
3. Torque all bolts to 8 ft-lbs, Then 15 ft-lbs, then 22 ft-lbs. Check to make sure the bead lock ring is flush with the wheel at this point. It is normal to see a slight flex in the beadlock ring. IF it is not flush, please call ZRP, 435- 753-2733 before continuing.
4. Inflate tire to desired pressure, it is not recommended to exceed 30 psi
5. Check the beadlock bolt torque after the first 100 miles. And every 500 miles.
Forged Wheel Care and Cleaning
• Do NOT use harsh cleaners, brake clean, or standard wheel cleaning products. These will damage the finish of your raw or anodized wheel. • Spray off and hand wash with mild soap and water ONLY.
• Do not use tire dressing or tire cleaners on the wheel.
• Ceramic coatings or WD-40 are OK to protect and keep wheels clean.
• Most detailing sprays that are for painted surfaces will work well.
• To bring out the shine in RAW forged wheels you can use Mothers Aluminum Polish on a Micro-fiber rag.
