• Remove stock tie rods from machine.
• Remove clevis assembly from tie rod. Remove heim
joint from clevis. Then, install clevis to steering rack
using the included custom torx bolt. Use a dab of blue
Loctite and torque to 60 Ft-Lbs. (Make sure clevis is
mounted at 90° to steering knuckle so that the tie rod
can swing through the clevis vertically.)
• Install heim joint to clevis. Use blue Loctite and torque
M12 Nut to 45 Ft-Lbs.
• Thread tie rod body on to the rack end ball joint.
• Install tie rod to front knuckle using stock bolt. Torque
to factory spec.
• Note: Made sure to adjust the toe-in/out after install
to make sure your wheels are tracking properly. Taking
measurements before installing will help this process
as well as installing and aligning one side at a time.
• Tighten jam nuts after adjusting alignment.
