Removal Of OEM Toe Link:

  1. With the rear of car in the air (jackstands are recommended) Remove the wheel off the car.
  2. Remove the OEM toe link cam bolt from the knuckle.
  3. Remove the Toe link bolt from the chassis, access this bolt by removing a cover from the skid plate under the OEM mounting point.
  4. Remove the Upper & Lower knuckle bolts.
  5. While being gentle with the axle, slightly pull out the knuckle from the trailing arm and toe in the knuckle.
  6. With the knuckle toed in, slide the OEM toe link as far back onto the knuckle as possible. While doing so you should be able to remove the front of the toe link out of the bottom of the toe link mounting point.

Installation Of ZRP Toe Link

  1. All toe links come loosely assembled and need to be torqued to the proper specification (listed below).
  2. With the adjuster block shoulder bolts loose, thread the heim joint in all the way (this will make installation much easier.)
  3. Both toe links will need the shoulder bolts horizontal & the radius side of the toe link adjust block down.
  4. Slide the Toe link through the trailing arm clevis side first and onto the knuckle.
  5. Same as the removal of the OEM link, slightly pull the knuckle from the trailing arm and toe in the knuckle
  6. With the misalignment spacers in the heim, this should allow you to slide the toe link in from the bottom of the mount.
  7. Install front of toe link onto chassis mount & torque to OEM spec
  8. Install Rear knuckle back to trailing arm & torque to OEM spec
  9. Install the supplied clevis bolt with blue loctite & torque to 133 ft/lbs
  10. With jam nut & shoulder bolts loose, align the rear of the car by spinning our adjustable barrel, tension can be taken off & spun by hand by wiggling rear toe in & out.
  11. Once alignment is finished, you should be able to access the shoulder bolts by slightly rotating the link.
  12. Torque the shoulder bolts by alternating back and fourth 10 lbs, 15 lbs, 20 lbs, 25 lbs.
  13. Clock the heim joint by putting the heim joint parallel with the adjuster block.
  14. While holding the heim & adjuster block, tighten the jam nut. (DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN)
  15. Make sure the adjuster block & heim joint are still parallel.
  16. If the adjuster block spins (read #14) you have improperly tightened the shoulder bolts.
